So for Christmas this year Santa brought the boys a 14' Trampoline (BouncePro 14' Trampoline and Enclosure with Spinner Flash Litez). All in all the trampoline was not very hard to assemble, but after about 1 week we began having problems with it. The foam padding used on the poles of the enclosure, as well as the mat surrounding the outer rim of the trampoline are beginning to "melt." The pictures give a better idea of what I mean by that. There is no apparent reason for this damage either. No trees above the trampoline or anything else for that matter. Rather than write a review on Wal-Mart's own website I chose to put the info here, since their site does not allow pictures in the reviews of products. Now with all this being said, the trampoline is a great toy :) All 3 boys have been having a blast with it almost everyday since Christmas. The Spinner Litez, as they call them, are quite awesome...video of them in action coming soon. Was a steal on black Friday shopping at under $200. Just wanted to show the few problems we had with ours. *Update:
We have found the source! It's almost too simple...The suns reflection off our windows are causing it to burn. I now worry about what it will look like when summer hits. :( Still happy with the performance, but had to move the trampoline to a more shaded area for now. Apparently this is not the only case either (Woman Claims Neighbor’s Energy Efficient Windows Are Melting Her Toyota Prius) looks like the windows are the cause of the melting foam :(
